Savage Order of the Stick

I thought it would be fun to stat up “The Order of the Stick” for Savage Worlds so they would be the first characters added to my new Savage Gallery, where I plan to add all sorts of characters.

I have been a huge fan of Rich Burlews online comic about this band of heroes for at great many years – and will happily give him my best recommendations. If you are not familiar with “The Order of Stick” please visit their home at Giant in the Playground.

Order of the Stick

The comic’s protagonists are known as “The Order of the Stick,” and are a party of adventurers who are questing to destroy an evil lich that is planning to conquer the world. They are:

  • Roy Greenhilt: A lawful good veteran fighter, who assembled the Order and acts as party leader.
  • Haley Starshine: A red-haired human chaotic good rogue, the only obvious female on the team.
  • Belkar Bitterleaf: A barefoot chaotic evil halfling ranger.
  • Durkon Thundershield: A lawful good dwarf and the party’s cleric.
  • Elan: A chaotic good bard.
  • Vaarsuvius: A true-neutral high-elven wizard, who´s gender is intentionally unclear.

In Savage Worlds they are all Wild Cards (offcourse) and of Seasoned Rank as per the beginning of the comic they are about 7th Level D&D Characters. I only used the rules from the Savage Worlds Deluce Ed. book (I had a look in my Fantasy Companion, but it did not seem necessary to use any of the rules this time).
